The Open Gender Collection "Digital Gender" brings together selected research contributions from the international conference Digital Gender: Ethik, Macht und (Geschlechter-)Wissen in Systemen künstlicher Intelligenz (Ethics, Power and (Gender) Knowledge in Artificial Intelligence Systems), which took place from 24 to 26 March 2022 at the Deutsches Hygiene-Museum as the final event of the GenderConceptGroup's Digital Gender project. The conference sought answers to the question of the potential and problems inherent in digitalisation and, in particular, artificial intelligence systems with regard to gender sensitivity and discussed how a future with autonomous technologies can be shaped in a gender-equitable way.
