Abstract

The article discusses three different theoretical traditions towards new reproductive technologies (NRT): queer-feminist approaches, Marxist feminisms and Disability Studies. Deploying the form of a semi-fictional walk, the contribution explores the differences and dissonances in the approaches to reproductive technologies. While queer-feminist approaches in NRTs see new potentials of kin ship and queer family making, Marxist feminisms approach NRTs as new forms of labour and exploitation. Disability Studies approaches problematize whether NRTs result in new eugenics.
