Stylesheet
We provide style templates in Microsoft Word format (.docx) for the submission of research articles/”Forum” contributions and reviews. The templates are available in both German and English and contain all necessary paragraph styles.
Please format your contribution according to these templates before submission.

Formatting guidelines
All paragraph styles in our template are described below. They are included in the MS Word documents linked above.
General
- File format: Microsoft Word (*.docx)
- Sentence: Block text
Article
Title
- Header (Noto Sans Regular, font size: 11)
- As heading in text body (Source Sans Serif Pro – Semibold, font size: 20)
Headings
- Heading 1 (Source Sans Serif Pro – Semibold, font size: 18)
- Heading 2 (Source Sans Serif Pro – Semibold, font size: 16)
- Heading 3 (Source Sans Serif Pro – Semibold, font size: 14)
Body
- Font: Noto Sans Regular
- Font size: 11
- First paragraph under a heading without indentation, indentation (1 cm) from the second paragraph onwards

Foot notes
- Font: (Noto Sans Regular, font size: 11)
- Position: At the bottom of the respective page. Footnotes are not meant for references.
Figures and tables
- Position: At a suitable place in the body text, not at the end of the text
- Source and rights: The source must be indicated, including image rights.
- Label position: Title above the figure/table, source below the figure/table (Noto Sans Display Condensed Regular, font size: 11)
- Reference in the body text: “Table X” (All tables and figures must be referenced in the body text.)
- Numbering: Consecutive in the article: 1, 2, 3, ...

- Font: Noto Sans Regular
