The editors of this anthology, which is part of the book series ‘Forum Frauen- und Geschlechterforschung’ issued by the Section for Women’s and Gender Studies of the German Sociological Association, have newly compiled 31 contributions published in the series between 2000 and 2021. In a kind of interim evaluation, they show which topics have found their way into this book series so far and to what extent the diversity of perspectives in women's and gender studies is reflected therein. The result is an impressive overview of the wealth of topics in women's and gender studies in the social sciences. It remains to be seen, however, what impulses the editors want to give to whom with this compilation and what professional visions for the future emerge from this revisiting for the future visualization of contributions from women's and gender studies in the social sciences.
